Asthma

Asthma is a long-term disease. It is a temporary blockage of the small airways in the lungs. A person with asthma face the many problems like breathing difficulties,chest pain and coughing. Coughing occurs at night or in early morning. More than 22 million people are suffering with asthma and 70 percent of people have allergies. Asthma is mostly begins in childhood.

Causes of asthma :-

  • Infections from colds and flu.
  • Allergies from dust, cigarette, smoke etc.
  • Exercise - especially in cold, dry air.
  • Laughing or crying very hard.


Symptoms :-

  • Wheezing.
  • Coughing.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Tightness in the chest.
  • Headache.
  • Sneezing.
  • Trouble in sleeping.
  • Feel tired

Types of Asthma :-

Allergic Asthma :-

 This is most common type of asthma. Allergies and asthma occur at same time. Runny nose, continuously sneezing, swollen on nasal passages, weeping eyes and a dry throat all are happen from allergies.

Exercise-Induced Asthma :-

 The symptoms of Exercise-induced asthma are wheezing and coughing. Exercise-induced asthma is a type of asthma that is happen after exercise and handwork. It makes physical activities to more difficult.

Cough-Variant Asthma :-

 Cough-variant asthma is also known as chronic cough. People suffer with cough-variant asthma, having no other asthma symptoms such as wheezing or shortness of breath. Major Cause of Cough-Variant Asthma is allergies from dust, fragrances and cold air.

Asthma Treatment :-

Treatment of asthma can be divided into long term treatment or quick relief medications. Always take Long term medication on regular basis. Asthma medication comes in many forms like sprays, pills, powders, liquids. The people with allergic asthma should wear a mask while Clean the house, avoid pets, keep away from dusty things.
