Hair loss or damage of hair is mainly due to many factors that are responsible are improper hair care, improper nutrition, excessive sebum secretion from the hair, irritation of the scalp or itchy scalp due to the parasitic infection and even dandruff attack.
The proteins, vitamins and minerals are very essential for the growth and development of the hair follicles on the scalp. The protein rich sources that can be used for hair care are henna powder, egg, yogurt, and milk.
• Henna powder: Henna powder when applied to the scalp. But for the best results it is better to mix the henna powder with the curd, or tea decoction in required amounts. This should be mixed in an iron vessel and kept for overnight. A whole lemon can be added with it; apply the paste to the scalp and through the hair. And wash the hair using herbal shampoo.
• Yogurt: Take a bowl of yogurt and mix a whole lemon and two tablespoons of yogurt and make like a paste. This paste should be applied to with a brush to the scalp. Tie the hair with a hot towel and leave the hair for about 1 hour. Then wash the hair this may prevent the hair from dandruff.
• Egg: It is protein rich source which nourishes the hair. Beat as required in a bowl. Then apply the egg paste to the hair. Apply the paste the scalp and tie it with a shower cap. Leave the hair for 2-3 hours and wash the hair.
