Tips for long and healthy hair

Today hair loss is one of the common problems seen in both men and women across the world. Hair loss can occur due to various reasons including poor diet, pollution or health problems. In order to have healthy hair, people are ready to spend a lot of money. But with a few basic hair tips, one can achieve beautiful and healthy hair.

First and foremost rule for healthy hair is to reduce the use of hair dryers, curling tongs and hair straighteners. Also avoid using harsh chemicals and colors. Choose the hair care products based on your hair type.


Wash the hair atleast thrice a week. Whenever you wash your hair, don’t forget to conditioner it. Remember to choose the conditioner based on your hair type.

Towel drying is already better than hair dryers. Use wide toothed comb when the hair is wet. Trim the hair for every 3 months as it helps in good growth of the hair.

Heat products like hair dryers, straighteners and flat irons with damage the hair. Even over exposure to hair to sunlight also lead to hair loss. Whenever you walk under sunlight, use cap or umbrellas.

One of the main tips for healthy hair is to have healthy diet and adequate sleep. Include your wide with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables; avoid processed, oily and spicy food. See to that you sleep atleast 8 hours every day.

Consumption of plenty of water also helps in having healthy hair. Drink not less than 10 glasses of water every day.
